Holiday performance and a great 2014 closure!

Hello Purple Room Families,

With all the pride in my heart, I just want to loudly proclaim, "Yes! Our children nailed it once again!" It was an incredible performance put forth by our preschoolers to show their happiness and enthusiasm for the upcoming holidays as well as to wish their friends and families Happy Holidays! Parents said it was stunning, it was miraculous, and they did a fantastic job! Thank you so much for being a part and coming on time. Your presence was the best present that the children received, which right away put a big smile on their faces, seeing you as audience in front of them!

We had worked hard for an entire month practicing our songs, creating our T-shirts, and decorating for the stage! Our holiday journey pictures throughout the month have been displayed on the classroom wall. Definitely give it a peek!

Other activities we did during our last 2014 school week:

Decorating our holiday performance banner...
While we decorated the word HAPPY, blue room friends worked on the word HOLIDAY. Together as a team we created a beautiful backdrop!

Making gingerbread...

It was funny when friends told us to quickly cut and eat the legs of the ginger man first so that it won't run away. Hahahaha!

Friends got involved one day in making huge pipelines with wooden blocks and used tools to fix and build it further...

Snow exploration continued...

L filled the mold and...

..took it out carefully, making a snow hill for his penguins :)

A's penguins lined up to roll in the snow :)

This bought a successful end to our 2014 year learning and exploration.

Hope you all had a wonderful holiday break!
See you around!

Hugs,
Teacher Rashida
