Happy Sunday Purple Room Parents!
First off, I am happy to say that classroom behavior has improved significantly so we will be introducing sharing this week. However, shares will no longer be every day. We will have a designated share day which will be Wednesday of each week. I ask that you continue to keep shares and toys home on all other days of the week. We will try our best to get through all of the shares on Wednesdays. I encourage students to bring a different share each week. This will help keep the other students interested during sharing time.
Secondly, our letter of the week is T. Throughout the week, we will be discussing forms of transportation (I.e. walking, biking, trains, cars, boats, planes, horses, hot air balloon, etc.) as well as doing crafts and games around the topic. A suggestion was made to have twin day, so WEDNESDAY will be twin day. Please get in touch with other parents from Purple Room and try and coordinate for twin day. (Triplets are okay too!)
Lastly, since the weather has been warming up, I hope to have a picnic this week. Nothing different other that eating lunch outside. Also, our class has been taking care of caterpillars. Last week they cocooned and this week we are hoping to see them turn into butterflies. FUN!
