B week...

Hello Purple Room Parents,
We started our B week with..
Bumble bees, bubbles, balloons, board games and yummy banana bread to name a few.

Bubbles are much harder to catch and keep in the air than in bowls with straws!

Writing letters to each other and to parents has been a great literacy-related activity in which kids are interested. This is getting lot of interactive teacher participation too. Kids made their personal mail boxes so that they can get mail from one another. Feel free to write a letter to your child and leave it in their mailbox!

The light table is down to one container of bugs, and has become instrumental in helping kids write and practice letters.

Can you put the bee on the B?

Our "Readers' Club" is still going strong, with a few parents that came and read to the children. Thanks Ryan, Fiona and Sarah (great that you made your own story for the club on picking apples) for volunteering to read.

Remember our pumpkin patch trip on the 9th. Thanks to parents for volunteering and joining us to go together!
